Second concert in a row in the SAINT Francis Xavier Hall, also looked full to the 2,000 capacity. Again I was at the front & again the gig was top class. They came back for 2 encores (Blue Monday & Atmosphere) & obviously enjoyed themselves. Notable was their interview with Dave Fanning on RTE radio - they actually spoke to him unlike their previous visit in 1983 which he described to them as his most difficult interview ever.
The bootlegs of the gigs were great too, although they missed the encore on the first night - as did most of the crowd. I got to buy the first bootleg tape on the Saturday, before going to the second gig - bootleg turnaround was v.quick in Dublin in those days!
SAINT SFX
