Did anyone see this documentary on BBC FOUR tonight? I missed the first 20 minutes, a pity - even if some of the insight into the making of Wish You Were Here was far too complicated for me!

Yeah, I have been watching it,the story of Syd appearing during the recording of the song "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" is pretty sad,
they didn't recognise this bald pot-bellied man who had helped them on the road to becoming the huge "machine" that by '75 they had become..

At last I am free...

Saw some of the making of doc and then watched all of the compilation of old performances and videos afterwards. Ultimately found it quite depressing though. That song High Hopes- kind of compelling but... i dunno, depressing
