It's a good browser, but the problem is still many sites use Microsoft's (wrong) Java while this use the correct Sun Java. While Internet Explorer has no problems with the Sun Java, Mozilla can't render Microsoft's Java. So IE is unfortunately still the only browser that will show you all the sites on the Internet, while you won't see some on Mozilla. I hope the trial between MS and Sun brings a solution to this problem. Any news about it? Guess it'll take years..

I'd love to use Mozilla/Firewhatever with NOOL, but there's the problem that it will create an extra box when listing out messages in a thread, with some messages going in the middle one, and others going in the right-hand one, making discussion a bit hard to follow. Reloading tends to clear up that problem, but it is certainly annoying. --Sam

I use Firefox 0.8.0+ for BeOS here, no issues except on this site surprisingly enough, its a very fast browser. The BeOS build was always renowned for being the worst of any platforms, yet its stable as anything. About Java - I don't have Java at all. I also only have RealPlayer 6, Quicktime 3 and Flash 4 installed here. The wonders of an abandoned platform
