One of my faves from the Get Ready Era 1. Better use of the "underneath the tree" lyric 2. "listen to the coors", couldnt Bernard have found a better lyric to rhyme with scores? Maybe "and bitchslap my whores"? 3. Loved it .. pleasant suprise for a B-side 4.95% 5. Well id prolly like to give my ex girlfriend the ole mushroom stamp, but that would still mean drivin 3000 miles so im just gonna say walk up the street to turkey hill and steal some Mint Tea

Best bit - The tempo change at approximately 45 seconds and the piano. Worst bit- I listen to the Corrs behind closed doors What kind of lyric is that?! Nah, it's cool, I like it just fine. Love/hate-%- 65% what would you do if you were invisible? Oooh the possibilities. Ever see the movie "Hollow Man"? Nah, I wouldn't go that far but it'd be fun to mess with people. 1.The lyrics, Bernard's voice, the strings-ish sound and the beat. 2.The fact that he mentions The Corrs 3.I love this song; it was a bonus track on the Japanese edition of "Get Ready" and I loved it. 4.95% 5.Stalk some of my favourite celebrities.

when I first heard Behind Closed Doors I was stunned at how awesome the drumming was.. so.. jazz like, for lack of a better word. The whole song is very non-New Ordery.. it was as if they were being totally creative vs. making a song that is going to appeal to radio listeners. It made me think, if they made an entire album like this, it'd be great for fans.. but would probably do horribly in sales. But, you never can tell can you. Anyways... Best bit(s)- when Barney's vocals meld into the synths at 0:59.. Worst bit- the song ending Love/hate-% 100% love, even the Corrs reference.. just Barney singing off the cuff.. it's all good. Other similar off the cuff lyrics in my mind are: "I think you are a pig, you should be in a zoo." "You've found me at a bad time, why don't you piss off" Not literary genius, but says so much. -what would you do if you were invisible I'd do a lot of bad things.
NMC -- "..we turned from kids who played with our backs to the audience into leather-trousered, motorcycle boot-wearing, groin-thrusting lunatics. I don’t know how it happened." - Hooky
