We're alway criticizing how most tributes fall way below our expectations. This is our chance to do create something special here, because this project will be base upon your input The New Order fan. Hopefully all the pieces will fall into place and this project will become a reality. Please post here if you wish to contribute a song to this project. [b]What we would like to know:[/b] 1. Style If there are members wanting to cover the same song, we'll probably hold a poll for the NOOL member to vote shich version will appear on the album. So might be a good idea to work on a couple different covers.

Well, I would like to take part on this CD. But what about the legal issues, the price and stuff like that. I have no idea at all and I don't want to go to prison just for having a good time with New Order.

This album will remain a online project if there is problem with legal issues, but I'm pretty sure SOMEONE can manage to get all the information we need, especially since this will be a non profit CD... One thing here, you can call any Joy Division / New Order song.. I'm curious if some people here are open-minded to make it open to side-projects as well, but I won't push it :evil4:

please remember: try choosing different songs. before submitting read all the previous posts and then make your decision. also remember that any cover of any related band is allowed. so monaco, electronic, TOT and revenge fans you´re welcome to do your version of your favourite song.

Our band name is Angelspider, I'm not sure yet what song to pick because there are several J.D. covers in our complete setlist (Transmission, Heart and Soul, 24 Hours, She's Lost Control, No Love Lost, Walked in Line) as well as Chosen Time and Procession so I'll see what happens. When we get details of how to send you our songs I'll know how many I can realistically send you to choose from. For now I just wanted to let you know that we'd certainly love to be involved in this project.

Band name: The SlightlyNarrow soundSystem Track: either Temptation, True Faith or Heart and Soul Style: True Faith would be a nice accoustic )or at least gentle)version[1]. temptation, would be an ambient electronic version. Heart and Soul would be pretty much an electronic version of the standard JD arrangement. This is a great idea. [1]Always thought that this sond would stand up on it's own, just as a song.

Cool to see so many enthousiastic reactions on the Tribute!. If I can participate as a non-band member / musician let me know. (Tried my skills on piano long time ago; not such a positive experience; piano at least didn't recover from it). Skills are in mental support and computer related activities.
