Enough spam! Just read the online article below where Bernard promises a few songs never played live before. What might those be?

A change to the old Order By Sarah Walters | Fri, 20 April, 2012
No Manchester reunion has ruffled feathers, rattled cages or come close to fisticuffs quite like the news that New Order were reforming.
Why? Because it’s New Order after a fashion – missing one vital member, bassist and founding member Peter Hook, and exchanging an endless amount of cross words.
Four-letter name slinging, accusations, differing opinions on how this all started: the list of potential fire starters remains endless. For the most part, the argument seems to centre around Hooky’s decision to play Joy Division tracks for the first time in 30 years with his band The Light – vitally, without the remaining members of Joy Division.
New Order without Hook; Joy Division without Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris: it all looks a bit like it belongs in the playground, a genuinely emotional subject reduced to ‘d’ya wanna be in my gang’-style tit for tat.
Hooky has been anything but reticent about his decision to play Joy Division’s seminal debut, Unknown Pleasures, with The Light, telling one national magazine: “It actually scared off a lot of the people I wanted to work with, which made me all the more determined.
“It’s the same thing with New Order deciding to tour without me – it makes me all the more determined to **** New Order over in any possible way I can.
“If they think I’m just going to scuttle off to a cabin in the woods, they’ve got another thing coming.” There are good reasons why The Light’s gigs should have happened: Joy Division’s startling back catalogue deserved to be played live, to be enjoyed by a whole new generation, and Hooky did co-write the songs.
And there are good reasons why not, too: Bernard’s upset about the whole thing speaks volumes, and Ian Curtis himself wasn’t exactly a nostalgia enthusiast. But The Light shows must go on. And, sans Hooky, so now must New Order’s – albeit under a cloud of legal threats about the use of the name and increasing animosity between the two warring camps. On Thursday, they begin a two-night sold out residency at the Apollo following a six-year hiatus from UK stages; it’s a bit of scheduling that proves how much the quartet – completed by keyboardist Gillian Gilbert – have been missed. The enthusiasm that the last greatest hits record generated was undoubtedly the catalyst for Bernard, Stephen and Gillian coming back together.
Total: From Joy Division To New Order, released last June, tried to tie together the two bands’ disparate musical palettes. It resolved some questions, but at times made their connectedness seem even more implausible. Interestingly, though, Total also motivated the band – in July 2011 – to rule out a reunion. “There’s no future for New Order,” Morris told The Guardian.
“It’s hard to draw a line under everything, but I think we have.” Sumner agreed; there was too much water under the bridge. Six months later, it was all change: New Order were revived, and with Hooky absent, they announced their return as a five-piece.
Bernard, Stephen and Gillian are now joined by guitarist and keyboardist Phil Cunningham and (filling the trickier boots) bassist Tom Chapman – both of Sumner’s previous band, Bad Lieutenant. And despite Bernard’s apparent reluctance to bring the Joy Division back catalogue out of retirement, all the signs are that gig goers can expect a hits set.
“We’ll be playing a combination of our favourite songs,” he said.
“I don’t want to give too much away but we will throw a few songs in there that we’ve never played live before, “It’s hard to fit them all in ... and we probably will put a couple of Joy Division ones in.” If there’s anything likely to rock this already dangerously tilting boat, it’s statements like that...

Eh? Whats that based on? He was only a young lad when he died, how do they know? |

I think there is reference somewhere (maybe in Touching From A Distance) to how he would give away records, even his favourites... Maybe a suggestion he wasn't interested in 'collecting' the past? Snorri xxx

Given that this interview took place before the Aussie tour, let's think about it..... Here To Stay - never played before 586 - new version of a song not played for 25 years Round and Round - not played for nearly 20 years Elegia - not played for 25 years 1963 - not played for 23 years they've done what they said......so don't expect anything different this week!

Maybe they should let the machines play the Pump Panel remix of "Confusion"? That pile of crap would empty the room swiftly

Oh. That's probably my favourite remix of theirs! Love it. And it worked brilliantly in Blade.
