What are your favourite songs where the keyboards are dominating the song. I love the synth pop genre very much so the choices are almost infinite. I am pretty keen on:

(1) Perfect Kiss (I would be a heretic not to say this)
(2) Maid of Orleans - OMD
(3) Your Silent Face
(4) Just cant get enough - Depeche embarrassment
(5) Its a sin - PSB's
(6) Midnight - Orbital
(7) TEE - Kraftwerk
(8) Closedown - The Cure
(9) Enola Gay - OMD
(10)Love Action - Human League

Ive never met anyone quite like you before

I'd add, off the top of me head:

Blancmange - Living on the Ceiling

Tubeway Army - Are Friends Electric?

Aphex Twin - Heliosphan

There's bloomin loads though

My eyes are made of stone, just like your sordid home.

As far as I know, it's like a synthesizer, but American.
They may claim they invented it, but Dr Moog was a dirty immigrant, and he was only developing work (the Theremin) done by the KGB's chief gadgeteer.

Best syth songs?

Hmmmmmm
Most of "everything you ever wanted to hear on a moog synthesizer but were too afraid to ask for", The bit from Carmen is particularly excellent, as is Bolero.

It's a sin is primarily Fairlight, which is a sampler and resynthesizer. There is however a JX8P explosion on it, that was previously used on FGTH's relax.

Spectacularly little synth on that if memory serves.

TRY HARDER FOLKS!

And leave DM out of it after 82 or so, all emulators, ie SAMPLERS not synths.

I Feel Love, naturally. As far as I know, there's only one syndrum sound in there, the other percussive sounds come from Moroder triggering the Moog. Bow

Hannet, me, and 75% of the noise-making-machine geeks on the planet, the other 25% will settle for nothing less than an NED Synclavier.

The CIA would NEVER have let a bunch of commies like Factory have one, they refused Paul Hardcastle cos he was a dangerous subversive cos he said the troops in 'Nam, were an average age of 19. Ahhhh the US govt.'s aversion to truth, you gotta love it.
