One of my faves from the Get Ready Era

1. Better use of the "underneath the tree" lyric

2. "listen to the coors", couldnt Bernard have found a better lyric to rhyme with scores? Maybe "and bitchslap my whores"?

3. Loved it .. pleasant suprise for a B-side

Worst bit- I listen to the Corrs behind closed doors What kind of lyric is that?! Nah, it's cool, I like it just fine.

1 Best bit - everything really, drum beat is very cool, great song that should have been on the album
2 Worst bit - 'listen to the corrs' does kind of annoy me, but in the end I think it is just a joke a bit of a piss take really.

when I first heard Behind Closed Doors I was stunned at how awesome the drumming was.. so.. jazz like, for lack of a better word. The whole song is very non-New Ordery.. it was as if they were being totally creative vs. making a song that is going to appeal to radio listeners. It made me think, if they made an entire album like this, it'd be great for fans.. but would probably do horribly in sales. But, you never can tell can you.

Anyways...

Best bit(s)- when Barney's vocals meld into the synths at 0:59..

Worst bit- the song ending

Love/hate-% 100% love, even the Corrs reference.. just Barney singing off the cuff.. it's all good. Other similar off the cuff lyrics in my mind are: "I think you are a pig, you should be in a zoo." "You've found me at a bad time, why don't you piss off" Not literary genius, but says so much.
