If you're talking about the full concert video of Talking Heads "Stop Making Sense," I'd say you're making no sense yourself. That's a great concert video! Classic! And let's not forget that Jonathan "Silence of the Lambs" Demme was helming it with the great Mr. Byrne. Speaking of which, "True Stories" was a great movie.
I will send you falling slowly / to the earth I see below me....

In the words of Mr. Red Hat, we are in agreeance on that one. Just found out this week that the Heads rehearsed here in Oregon for the Stop Making Sense tour, the date they played in Eugene was 4 days before the date in California when they filmed the show. I was happy cause they played Love Goes To A Building On Fire, one of my faves, as the third song as a trio. As good as the film is, it was much better in person, the crowd truly went nuts.
Saw True Stories in the theater, with two other people. I love the humour in this one, along with a young John Goodman and (RIP)Spalding Gray, giving his economic theories for the future of Virgil, TX to his breathless family by using the dinner food as props. I also prefer a lot of the songs as sung by the actors rather than the Heads themselves, like the kids doing Hey Now, Pops Staples on Papa Legba, or Tito Larriva on Radio Head. Some of that stuff made the b-sides of singles, but a lot of it hasn't been released at all (I don't think Goodman did a bad job on People Like Us at all).
Gonna have to think about the worst video I ever saw, there've been way too many painful things I witnessed over the years. we know the devil and we have shaken him by the hand, embraced him and thought his foul breath was fine perfume.....just like rock n' roll
