Dieses Mädchen singt auf Deutschen, französisch und Englisch. Sie kommt aus Belgien. Sie ist sehr merkwürdig. Sie ist sehr gut. Sie ist wütend!

"I've been to many gigs over the years. Really, ALOT and I've never seen such an energetic, manic performance as that given by Kania Tieffer - at least, not since The Cardiacs in the mid-1980s!

Imagine one of the Kraftwerk robots set to 'kill frenzy' mode and let loose on an audience...

This young Belgian woman performs in English, French and German, strutting around the stage and among the audience like an eloquent four year old who's just had their favourite toy confiscated.
Mad, weird, petulant and brilliant, her one-woman show is captivating from start to finish. Most of her tracks are very short, often around the one and a half minute mark, but they pack the punch of an elephant in steel boxing gloves. Understandably, she uses pre-programmed backing tracks, but sings, plays keyboards and guitars live.
Between the songs, her announcements, introductions and chats with the audience are delightfully self-deprecating and often highly amusing. She has certainly learned to entertain.
Many people would be rather bewildered when seeing her live for the first time, but after a few tracks, would be sure to get the 'joke'.
These performances are almost a musical version of Cirque Du Soleil and a stunning aural equivalent of such.
Given the opportunity, if you miss her live, I'm sure you'd regret it.

She's given me some tracks to play on my next show, so feel free to tune in and dance around madly.
