1. Best bit:
the guitar riff.

2. Worst bit:
perhaps the bass & drum mixing (little too low).

3. Why you love/hate it:
it's my 3rd favourite track from Republic, after Regret and Special. Love the melody, and it used to sound stunning live IMHO.

4. Percentage rating:
100% Thumb's Up! wink animated

1. Best bit:
Sweet chorus and build up.

2. Worst bit:
Barney should have spent 2 more hours on the lyrics.

3. Why you love/hate it:
One of the strongest on Republic. Should have been a single instead of Ruined in a day. If I am not mishearing then Hooky actually plays a bit of conventional bass on this track instead of his usual signature high up melodic bass.

4. Percentage rating:
85%

Marvellous tune and sounded superb live when they played the Montruex Rock Festival in 1993. Should have been a single.

As above, should have been a single,World (argh!) just didn`t do it for me,neither did Spooky. A strong track, maybe the best on the album.

8/10.

An awesomely touching love song from what I feel is their best album. This song, Regret and Avalanche are my favorites.

9.75 out of 10

1. Best bit:
The instrumental part at the end.

2. Worst bit:
It gets a bit cheesy at the chorus but it's o.k.!

3. Why you love/hate it:
Because it makes me want to listen to it over and over again, and it's really touching. It's great live too.

4. Percentage rating:
95%

Among my favourites definitely (it's hard to pick a favourite)

1. Best bit:
the guitar riff in the verse (I wonder if Mike & The Mechanics liked this song)

2. Worst bit:
The first 5 seconds of the intro sounds corny and dated

3. Why you love/hate it:
It's a strong all-rounder, gutted that they only played it at the one gig if I recall correctly? It sounds great at Montreux though.

4. Percentage rating: 99% Thumb's Up!

Can we meet on the street maybe tomorrow?
