UNFAITH (n-fAth): 1. Absence of faith; 2. State of questioning an apparent truth. Unfaith aims to bridge the gap between yesterday's musical virtues and today's contemporary sounds. "Unfaith is now leading the charge of exciting new bands which are poised to shake up the dull humdrum of today's music scene" stated in antiMUSIC Managing Editor Keavin Wiggins. How prophetic those words would turn out to be; in the summer of 2003, Unfaith would turn the rock world upside down by authoring a hoax detailing how they were purportedly being sued by rock icons Metallica for the unsanctioned use of "Metallica-branded" chords. Unfaith continues to self produce songs for their loyal internet following which includes over 3,000 subscribers, without the benefit of shows or radio airplay hoping to attract the industy interest necessary to reach proverbial next step.
