Influences

JD, NO, legions of guitar-based bands of the last 25/30 years.

What does NO/JD mean to you?

Everything! The band has formed a soundtrack to our lives. All regular New Order gig attendees over a sustained period.

Bio

Formed from the ashes of Number One Blue Murder, who played the Homage night at Manchester's Roadhouse in July 2002. Drummer Jon approached Tim and Jim after learning of the Community Project, and things have gone from strength to strength ever since. Philip Collins joined us in early 2004, and this allowed us to introduce more keyboard songs to the repertoire, which now stands at 38 different songs already played live, with another dozen or so nearly ready for the next set of gigs we do.

Our version of Leave Me Alone appeared on the Community 1 EP and we contributed the "bonus" track, Love Vigilantes to the Community 1 CD. Our track for Community 2, Ultraviolence was recorded in February 2006 along with Digital's versions of Atmosphere, Love Will Tear Us Apart and The Perfect Kiss.
