Confusion (2002)

This first collaboration between New Order and the legendary DJ/producer Arthur Baker brought Manchester's lively indie scene together with the sound of New York.

It was a track that was instrumental in setting the stage for the dance explosion that followed. On its' 20th anniversary, Whacked have rounded up a fine collection of remixes.

The track lends itself well here to Koma and Bones shadowy breaks mix.

They've retained the original vibe, along with Peter Hook's distinctive bass, in both a vocal and dub offering. The memories come flooding back and it's beautiful to hear again, in any variation.

8/10
